My professional story
After independent e-commerce work, I joined Decathlon Türkiye in store operations. As a department manager, assistant store manager and store manager, I worked on sales, inventory, staffing, recruitment, training, campaign preparation and store operations. This period taught me how customers experience a store and how an operational decision can affect product availability.
In 2020, I moved into e-commerce operations. My scope included daily fulfillment, continuous improvement, Kaizen and 5S work, bottleneck analysis, SLA follow-up and process design with other departments. I later became Domestic Logistics and Warehouse Manager, leading national B2C e-commerce shipping, B2B replenishment for stores, and reverse logistics for store and customer returns. During Black Friday and other peak periods, I coordinated the work of IT, Finance and 3PL teams.
At Decathlon, I worked from the 3PL client side. I led transport and 3PL tenders for three consecutive cycles and developed partnership models based on SLAs, incentive and penalty mechanisms, and total cost of ownership. I also worked with global teams on a new warehouse feasibility and opening project. With colleagues, I co-led a packaging and route consolidation project aimed at reducing the carbon footprint.
I joined Arvato in November 2025. On the Inditex/Zara operation, I managed outbound processes together with another Operations Manager and later managed inventory and inbound operations. I set up the outbound plan in a newly opened warehouse. With the team, I also contributed to building the operating infrastructure for inbound, outbound, store and B2C returns. Today, within the Control Tower scope, I follow performance at overall, person and line level, operational alerts, improvement actions and workforce planning across two operations.
Four areas I work in
Fulfillment and warehouse operations
I have managed B2C e-commerce shipping, B2B store replenishment, outbound, inbound, inventory and reverse logistics. I focus on making warehouse flow, layouts, SOPs and lean practices workable on the floor.
KPI and performance management
I analyse performance overall, by person and by line. I build KPI and productivity reporting models with Excel and Power BI, supporting WBR and senior management reporting. I read a number together with its definition and operating context.
3PL and partnership management
I have worked as the client at Decathlon and as the service provider at Arvato. My experience includes tenders, SLAs, incentive and penalty mechanisms, TCO, capacity and responsibility boundaries. I focus on translating expectations into a workable operating model.
Workforce and operational planning
I forecast operational needs by period and process, and coordinate hiring requirements with HR. In the Control Tower scope, I follow performance, operational alerts, cost and staffing assumptions within the same working rhythm.
